Steve Tsang is one of the founding members of the Road Demons, a car club that's a fixture of the Edmonton
car scene. He proudly proclaims the club got started by 'guys that build cars held together with bailing wire and
duct tape.' While laughing about my failed recording of the interview Steve continues to align this issue with
keeping things simple by recalling a road trip. A friend of his had a fuel pump die, and Steve cobbled together a
gravity feed system involving a sharp knife and a windshield washer reservoir. This kind of 'keep it simple stupid'
rule shines through in his build.
We talk about how some things just don't need to progress. He smiles with fondness telling me how the car is
still running the original hairpins on the original frame. "Think about it. They've survived the Great Depression,
a World War, almost a hundred years of history they've seen. How cool is that?" Buddy, it's way cool.
