SOCIAL IMPACT
WBF continued to see how our programs impact our students' future earning and well-being. The average
increase in income is 127 per cent for our Journeywoman Start program, and 160 per cent for our Heavy
Equipment Operator program.
AVERAGE STARTING HOURLY WAGE BEFORE/AFTER THE PROGRAM
Prior to training at WBF, the majority of women earned annual incomes of less than $35,000. It is interesting
to note that the largest increase in income was seen in the highest income range on the survey of $60,000
or more annually.
