Don takes great pride in both the stance and the unique exterior on his '50. "I can drive it at
three different heights and I just love the overall look." Don had some help from some good
friends on the 3100: Mauro Brocca from Performance Restora ons, and Chris Brown who is an
automo ve electrician. Chris drove up from London to Mississauga every weekend to work on
this through last season's ugly winter.
When asked if he would be looking at another build even though he said 5 years ago he was
done, he quickly says, "Oh yes, I have Rustored 2.0 coming down the road."
Don's next project is going to be a '49 Chevy truck with an LS3 motor with a Mustang II front end
on the original frame. It's going to be a li le different again but with the original pa na. As Don
says, "It's not going to be rushed though as I don't need two of them since I can only drive one
at a me. Since everything is for sale I hope to sell Rustored so I can get started on Rustored 2.0."
