To keep the computer running happy for engine control, Darrell did keep the
converters in there from the original exhaust, but the mufflers had to go so he
could get some Thrush pipes in, but he's not happy yet. "It s ll doesn't sound
very good. It s ll sounds like a Crown Vic," he laughs.
The Crown Vic offered up some power seats and power windows too as part
of the updated ameni es. To come up to the studio for the photography
session, he drove six hours and looks forward to more long hauls in it.
Watch for that big orange Merc to come pounding down the road towards
you real soon.
