2015 ANNUAL REPORT Shafin Kanji, MAcc, CA, CBV Mr. Kanji is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator, and a founding principal of KV Capital Inc., the private mortgage brokerage, exempt market dealer, restricted portfolio manager, investment fund manager and real estate investment company that provides service to KV Mortgage Fund Inc. Mr. Kanji has previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of JER Envirotech Ltd., and as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Matrikon Inc. Mr. Kanji also has extensive experience in the areas of fraud investigation and business valuations from his tenure at KPMG and in real estate development and construction through his current involvement as a founding principal of Edmonton based Kanvi Homes Inc. Aleem Virani, CA, CBV Mr. Virani is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator, and a founding principal of KV Capital Inc., the private mortgage brokerage, exempt market dealer, restricted portfolio manager, investment fund manager and real estate investment company that provides service to KV Mortgage Fund Inc. Mr. Virani previously served as the Controller for Trans Global Group of Companies (subsidiary of the Brick Group Income Fund), as a business valuations and litigation support expert with Kingston Ross Pasnak LLP, and as a public accountant at Deloitte. Mr. Virani also has experience in real estate development and construction through his current involvement as a founding principal of Edmonton based Kanvi Homes Inc. Curtis Power, CA Mr. Power is a Chartered Accountant and a principal of KV Capital Inc., the private mortgage brokerage, exempt market dealer, restricted portfolio manager, investment fund manager and real estate investment company that provides service to KV Mortgage Fund Inc. Mr. Power previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of a mortgage lending firm specializing in short term bridge financing that grew from start up to $60 million of assets under management and as an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. Mr. Power joined KV Capital Inc. in 2013 and has full responsibility for the firm's mortgage operations including leading the origination, underwriting and servicing teams. Jonathan Herman, CA Mr. Herman is a Chartered Accountant and a principal of KV Capital Inc., the private mortgage brokerage, exempt market dealer, restricted portfolio manager, investment fund manager and real estate investment company that provides service to KV Mortgage Fund Inc. Mr. Herman previously served as an auditor with Deloitte and as a Tax Officer with Alberta Finance's Tax and Revenue Administration. Mr. Herman joined KV Capital Inc. in 2011 and has full responsibility for all financial, compliance and capital operations within KV Capital Inc. including leading the finance, accounting and capital teams. 12
