Based in Edmonton, über iron is a company
func oning as a design house with produc on
capabili es. Andy Young, founder and lead
designer recognized some me ago the
underu liza on of metal as a decora ve
element in our lives. He custom creates
railings, gates, arbours and furniture. Fueled
by a passion to create and a diverse skill set
gained from backgrounds in fine arts and
hot rods, he envisioned how metal could be
employed to enhance any environment. Thus
"über iron" was born.
With a mission to be innova ve and
original, Andy has gone on to create many
unique metal infused projects for an array
of applica ons - most recently a Hot Rod
Furniture line. The Hot Rod Furniture Line was
spun out from work Andy was doing around
industrial railings. Each piece is created from
solid metal parts, including aluminum, milled
steel and stainless steel. Several variants
of these handmade stools and tables are
available, and each can be customized around
height and size. Andy can also incorporate a
custom logo on the seat covers and create
show car stanchions. Glass table tops are also
available and Andy also works with granite
and wood within his metal designs. He offers
hundreds of finishing op ons. "We can start
