What kid, who grew up in the '70's, didn't
grow up with a love for a certain '69 Charger?
Seeing Bo and Luke Duke, tearing up Hazard
County, was the highlight of every Friday
night. For Jason Carnell, his '69 would have to
wait. "I originally bought a 1970 Charger from
a farmer, a complete car for $5,000. I brought
the car home and got started on it , but it was
all cracked up. The frame was destroyed."
That project would lead nowhere, but Jason
s ll wanted his Charger. A li le while later,
Jason found another Charger, this me from a
farmer out by Vegreville. "I was the first guy
to call him, minutes a er he placed an ad on
Kijiji. I told him, I'm on my way, and I drove
straight there."
