The '69 was in a lot be er shape than that first Charger and Jason would go on to drive it for a few months, but "that
was three years ago". He says the handling was a li le scary and he had some close calls. "I had it in the garage, had
a couple of beers and then took the grinder to it. Then I told myself, 'I have a restora on project.'" Jason would cut all
the steel off and get started on his Resto Mod.
Nothing but posi ve feedback was received from the Mopar community. "People come up to me at shows or on the
street and tell me I did it right. Some people don't like the big res but for the most part, everyone loves it." Jason
says that one of the best compliments he has received, is when people come up to him and ask him if Chip Foose
built it and he does say he was influenced by the legendary car builder. "I cut the bumpers and sucked them in like
