Daryl Lindberg loved the look of the 1941 Willys. " The steel bodies of the Willys were crazy expensive and I did
not want to go with fibreglass." So after some thinking, Daryl decided to go with a Hudson. "I was raised by
my grandparents and my Grandfather had two '38 Hudsons, one 2-door and one 4-door sedan. These cars were
sitting in our garden my entire life." Many years after Daryl's grandparents were gone, his wife asked him what
he was going to do with the cars. "At that time, I had no plans to do anything with them and sadly, had them
crushed." Daryl laughs when he tells us that once he decided to make his own Hudson, he had to go out and
buy three, just like the ones he had destroyed. "I had all these parts in my own yard years before and now I'm
searching for them. It took me four years just to find the hood ornament."
