P U L S E C R O P N E W S F A L L 2 0 1 7 | 37 fabulous volunteers there to help! They por oned all the samples and handed them out to the audience along with our recipe books and cleaned up the space when we were done which was very unexpected and appreciated. The other mely surprise was that the Kitchen Theatre sponsor was Bush's Beans! When audience members came to get their Beans & Rice sample and APG recipe booklet, they also got a can of Bush's Beans. What a great cross promo on that I didn't even plan! Overall, this was a very successful event for APG to par cipate in. The organizers told us to expect 150 people and while I didn't get a chance to count how many people were in the audience, I had just enough samples for everyone who a ended and ran out of recipe booklets. I had some good ques ons during my demo as well as a few from people who came up a erwards, so I thought we had a great demo, people learned something about Alberta pulses and got to see how tasty they are! Looking for pulse recipe inspira on? Check out the Alberta Pulse website www.pulse.ab.ca as well as www.pulses.org for great ways to use pulses everyday! Have you got a ques on about pulse nutri on?
