Growers, we thank the scientists, agronomists,

projects possible. We salute your expertise,
hard work and passion to make a difference for
Alberta's pulse growers.
Our fellow research funders played a key
role in selecting, funding and in many cases
executing these projects. We are grateful for
the collaboration of Agriculture and Agri-Food
Canada, Alberta Agriculture and Forestry,
Growing Forward 2, University of Alberta,
University of Calgary and University of Toronto.
In the 32 research projects discussed in this report,
project teams addressed key questions about pulse
production, processing, market development and
health, and found valuable answers.
The research projects of today become the
agronomic practices, manufacturing processes
and pulse-based products of tomorrow. In turn,
new questions and opportunities emerge.
