"The hardest part of driving this car is keeping it straight when you launch it," says Gino, raising his voice over
the growling engine that rumbles under the hood.
While the car is a replica, Gino spent a lot of time and energy redeveloping it to a specific look that he
envisioned. When he got the car it was burgundy with black pipes. He'd seen a car in Vegas that had caught
his eye, but he could not bring that vehicle into Canada. So when he got a hold of the Cobra, he brought it to
Mervin's The Body Shop in Kelowna and they worked with him to create the unique paint job that wraps the
car. The Cobra's shimmering exterior has twenty seven coats of paint on it. "There's nine coats of silver below
the orange," says Gino, tapping a side panel.
