Don wanted to keep that original body look and feel. He was inspired by the current rat rods out there but as
Don explains, "I don't want a typical rat rod that you would see down in Vegas that is uncomfortable to sit in,
and no view. My objec ve was to build a truck with that wow factor in terms of the original pa na but that
had the driveability of a high end street rod." So with that, everything under the hood and chassis is new. He
has the Hot rod in terms of mechanical but the old school pa na in terms of the body. "This truck has been
64 years in the making. You can't duplicate the look of this truck, right down to the moss growing on the
quarter panels."
